Townend Boxing academy believes in making a difference to the live's of all the children in our community, we aim to educate children into a healthy and active lifestyle, townend boxing academy holds a no drugs policy close to its core beliefs!. we do not train or support ultra white collar/unlicensed and unregulated boxing. we don't have a costly grading system like many clubs we simply have 4 levels of boxer listed below. all of our coaching team hold current and up-to date DBS (criminal records check) safeguarding for children, young adults and vulnerable children, Emergency first response (first Aid) and hold a minimum of a England Boxing level 1 choaching qualification.
RECREATIONAL BOXER (NONE CONTACT)
DEVELOPMENTAL BOXER (LIGHT CONTACT)
CLUB CARDED FIGHTER WITH 1 BOUT MINIMUM (FULL CONTACT)
We hold a 12 week mandatory phase,in which new boxers and children under 9 are prohibited from contact boxing, after the 12 week period, parental/legal guardian consent is required in writing before any miner under the age of 16 can join in with contact training/ sparing
